I saw this post the other day and thought it was a good description of an aspect of what we’re trying to build at ThoughtWire. The most important work I do is to help build the team that’s building the product. Building the team includes hiring the right folk, being really consistent in demonstrating the culture we’re all hoping to build and not creating perverse incentives to do things that don’t matter.

A great team, working in a culture that gives them the autonomy to shine, aiming at a big problem that matters, that’s our hope for a successful company.
