ThoughtWire enables new, more dynamic and responsive, user experiences across applications and we need an innovative client side developer to help present our vision. As part of the client development team you'll work both with the core team on client tools and directly with customers to understand their problems and develop solutions using ThoughtWire software.

Required Experience:

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience developing user interfaces in at least one of HTML, Swing, VB, Windows Forms, etc.
  • Excellent JavaScript, CSS and HTML skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with portals
  • Experience with some data modeling processes
  • Experience building web applications
  • Knowledge of RDF and related standards
  • Experience with AJAX communication, JSON, XML, other.

Technical Requirements:

Required

  • HTML 4 5+ yrs
  • CSS 2 5+ yrs
  • JavaScript 4+ yrs
  • JavaScript framework like jQuery, Prototype, YUI, MooTools, Other, 4+ yrs.
  • JSON 2+ yrs.
  • AJAX patterns including remote communication
  • Dealing with cross browser issues, 4+ yrs.

Preferred

  • XML 4+ yrs
  • Portals (Liferay, SharePoint, WebSphere Portal, Oracle WebCentre, etc.) 2+ yrs.
  • RDF 1+ yrs
  • Some HTML 5 experience
  • Some CSS 3 experience
  • Mobile experience focused development
  • Internationalization experience
  • Secure application development practices
